We design our programs around these criteria to ensure we have a clear roadmap to substantial return-on-investment and return-on-effort and hold ourselves accountable for achieving these goals throughout implementation.

To us this is the most transparent and practical manner to ally our forces and to ensure that all parties’ incentives are aligned and each party is treated fairly so that we can win together.

A&S invests in our partner companies both indirectly and directly.
Once we have fully screened a potential deal (see later section on the A&S screening process) we endeavor to have significant “skin in the game” to help our partner companies accelerate value creation. For each dollar of capital, hour of time and unit of intangible capital we invest we intend to see a substantial and fair return for all parties.
While each investment and client situation is unique we typically aim for a three-part compensation model described below. Such arrangements have been received positively by our entrepreneurs, investors and managers because of how such arrangements create substantial “skin in the game” for all parties while maintaining focus on long-term value creation. We consider each of these components like a dial; when raising or lowering one element you may wish to raise, lower or eliminate the others to achieve the correct balance.
